Location:        San Simeon, California

Event headquarters will be located at the San Simeon State Park Campground,
"Washburn".  Washburn is located "up the hill" approximately 1 1/2 miles from the
entrance station.  There is a short section where the road turns to hard pack gravel
but is not a problem for motorcycles.  Use caution as usual.

Directions:        The campground is located on Highway 1, approximately 7 miles north of
Highway 46 (west).  It is 3 miles north of the town of Cambria and 2 miles south of
the town of San Simeon.  It is approximately 5 miles south of Hearst Castle.

Information:   This is a beautiful area of California's scenic coast line.  Washburn
camping sites are somewhat primitive, with pit toilets.  However, it is well
maintained and away from the highway.

For those who do not want to camp, there are many hotels to choose from.  Consult
any AAA book for details.  Look in San Simeon, Cambria area.  The hotels on
Moonstone Drive are right at the water but tent to be pricey.

Here is a sample of hotels in San Simeon:
        1.  Motel 6 (formally a Holiday Inn)  $ 45.99  (805) 927-8691
        2.  Inns of California, $ 40.00, single,  $ 45.00 Dbl. queen.
