I have been checking motels in the area. I couldn't find any in Templeton where he lives. But I found two in Paso Robles that sound good and one of them I have stayed at it was clean and not very expensive. Here's what I found:

ADELAIDE INN it's triple A rated at 3 stars, the winter rates advertised are $59.00 to $69.00 for two persons, all rooms have refrigerators, color cable TV with HBO, In room coffee, and they have a pool, a spa and a sauna. 805-238-2770. This is where Betty & I will be staying.

#2 Best Western Black Hawk motor lodge, it's also triple A rated @ 3 stars. their winter advertised rates are $57.00 to $100.00 for 2 persons. they have a whirlpool, a heated pool, they also have a coffee shop that's open from 0600 to 2100. 1-805-238-4740

I found one more, it should be good, it's not AAA rated, but it's well known. It's the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & suites. Their advertised winter rates are $65.00 to $109.00 for 2 persons, they have radios, coffee makers, microwaves, refrigerators, in the rooms. They also have a pool and an exercise room. 1-805-238-6500.

For those of you that intend on coming, please bring the usual gift for no more than $20.00 and that can be either male or female friendly. and please have it wrapped. Also you should let Bob know you are coming, Just send him an E-mail and let him know. An E-mail is preferred this way he can save it to incoming mail and have a record of who's coming.
