The Nor Cal Voyagers Motorcycle Club is hosting a day ride to beautiful Cedar Grove in Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Park. If you have never been to Cedar Grove, you must not miss this ride. It is one of the most spectacular rides in the state. You will travel up in elevation to approximately 7,000 feet then back down into the beautiful Kings River gorge, one of the deepest in the United States. You will be surrounded by peaks exceeding 13,000 feet.

You will see redwoods 275ft tall and 103 feet around. Visit Boyden Cave: if you wish and marvel at the rapids of the Kings River. Take time to stop and reflect in Zumwalt Meadows, the "end of the road".

The ride on Saturday is 85 miles, one way and will start, 8:00AM at Denny's Restaurant in Fresno, at Blackstone and Shields. Gas is available in the park. However, I am sure it is expensive, so we will stop at Clingan's Junction, approximately half way to the park, for anyone who needs to top off their tanks. A small market and snack bar is located in Cedar Grove for lunch.

Cedar Grove it's self, is not actually located in the park, but you have to go through the Park to get to it. Because of this, the National Park fee is $20.00 unless you have a Golden Age or annual park pass to get in free. If you stay until Sunday, Ray will take anyone who wants to go, to the Underground Gardens located in Fresno.
