The Northern California Voyager Club is planning a tour spanning almost 2 weeks, with stops at number of National Parks in Utah, Colorado, and Arizona. The tour will visit the 'Grand Canyon Sky Walk' on the Hualapai Indian Reservation before returning to California.

Here is the itinerary that has been worked out:

9-8, Arrive Fallon NV. Stay at the Super 8 motel on US50, ½ mile west of US95. 855 West Williams Ave, Fallon NV 89406. Phone 775-423-6031.

9-9, Depart Fallon NV no later than 7:30 am, for Delta Utah, 402 miles. Stay at the Best Western Inn, 527 Topaz Blvd, Delta UT, 84623. Phone 435-864-3882.

9-10, Depart Delta UT for Moab UT, 233 miles. Depart no later than 9:00am. Stay at the Adventure INN, 512 N. Main, Moab UT, 84511. Phone 435-259-6122. (Stay 2 days or 3 nights)

9-11 & 12, Visit Arches NP & Canyonlands NP.

9-13, Depart Moab UT for Blanding UT, 81 miles. Depart no later than 9:30am, stay at the Super 8 motel, 755 S. Main, Blanding UT 84511. Phone 435-678-3880.

9-14, Visit Natural Bridges NP.

9-15, Depart Blanding UT for Cortez CO, about 60 miles. Depart no later than 9:30 am. Stay at the EconoLodge, 2020 East Main St., Cortez CO, 81321. Phone 970-565-3474.

9-16, Visit Mesaverde NP.

9-17, Depart Cortez CO for Williams AZ, via US160 & I40, 295 miles. Depart no later than 8:30am. Stay at the Route 66 Inn, on east bound RT66 downtown Williams, AZ 86046, phone: (928)635-4791 (not in AAA book).

9-18, Visit the Hualapai Indian Reservation & the new viewing arch 130 miles. NOTE: there is a $25.00 fee for walking out on the arch. Depart the reservation for Kingman, AZ, approx. 118 miles and stay at: Super 8 motel.3401 Andy Devine Ave, Kingman AZ 86401. Phone 928-753-5541.

9-19, Depart Kingman, AZ for Las Vegas NV or Barstow CA no later than 8:00am. Those who live south of Modesto will leave the group for Barstow via RT66 over the pass to Oatman, AZ (great trip and only about 30miles). Those who want to go north via Las Vegas can go to Oatman, AZ and then head north via Bullhead City, AZ or leave Kingman north to Las Vegas. From Kingman to Barstow is 220 miles via Oatman, and Kingman to Las Vegas is 150 miles. Direct from Kingman to Las Vegas is 115 miles.

9-20, Depart Vegas & Barstow for home, depart whenever you feel like it.

It is suggested that you make your reservations early, and make them through AAA. If you are a member, you can share a room with some one to cut down on cost. I have tried to keep us in decent motels with reasonable prices. If anyone who wishes to go on this trip has any better ideas on motels; I'm open for suggestions until the 15th of July. After that, the schedule is set in stone.
