Campout in Corning
June 8-10, 2007

Have a nice campout at the Ellingson Ranch in Corning, CA.
This event is sponsored by Dennis Ellingson.

You can show up on Thursday or Friday, and stay until Monday if you wish. There will be a ride led by Dennis (out of Red Bluff, west on hwy 36 towards the ocean. Lots of twisties and mtns for your riding pleasure. Possibly half way to ocean or more, depending on the consensus of all.), probably on Sunday.

Dennis has a simple barbeque planned for Sunday (dogs and hamburgers with everything, including potato salad and beans).

Motor homes and full trailers are welcome, there are 10 acres to park in. Yep, there are motels. Restrurants are here like civilizied places. Our general store carries frying pans and cookers for the fire, and ready made jerky if needed. Also, road kill is available if you get out early enough before the locals awaken. Coffee will be served in the mornings for all the enebriated people (byob) that happen to be able to arise before noon. 10 acres is available for a rustic open air bathroom.

Take I-5 from Sacto to Corning.
At Corning, take the South Ave or Solano exit.
Turn right, take first road (Edith) left. You will be heading North on Edith (running parrallel with the freeway. It's a right off frwy. and quick left.)

Go through town, past Safeway on the left and go to the second (2nd.) stop sign. That will be Gallagher Ave-approx. 1 mile out of town. Turn left on Gallagher and go over the freeway. The first road on the west side of the freeway is Barham. Our property starts on the North west side of Barham and Gallagher. The driveway is on Gallagher with a sign that says "Lorn Ln." That's a private drive-gravel, and it's between the almond orchard on the corner and an olive orchard on the west.
