I’m Don Medina, Vice President. I’ve been a NorCal Voyager member for 1 ½ years.
I was born in Alamosa, Colorado in 1948. We moved to Denver in 1957. I got my first motorcycle in 1973 – a 1973 RD350 Yamaha. I remember doing my first 500-mile day on that motorcycle.
>I moved to the Bay Area in 1987. In 1991 I bought a 1984 Kawasaki GPZ550. I rode it everywhere – to Colorado a few times, and up and down the state of California. In 1995 I walked into a Kawasaki dealership and saw a new 1994 Concours. I was taken! I rode it until 2002 when I got my Voyager. I took delivery of the Voyager in Grand Junction Colorado while my wife and I were attending the National COG Rally. I love riding my Voyager; I ride to work every day that it’s not raining.
I’ve been married to Trisha Blue since 1997. Now she has her own motorcycle and I have a riding partner.
