Old Business

Treasures report:  Wayne Bright advised the group that the treasury is solvent.  The club has $1, 087.72.  There may be some outstanding dues coming in from members who want to remain in the club.  The club has changed banks again.  The account is in the name of the club, so hopefully there will be no more problems with checking accounts.

Activities Report:  Don Brubaker talked about the joint ride to Ukiah with the Golden State Riders  (GSR).  Don said he has been in contact with the Southern California Voyagers (SCV) in regards to a joint ride.  Apparently, he had previous discussions about an event in October.  However, he was told by the SCV activities director, that October would not work for them.

Activities Report continued:

Don contacted Tom Hite, who had volunteered to set up an event for our club in May.  Tom agreed to switch his event to another month.  Therefore, Don will proceed with setting up arrangements on the joint ride to Porterville with the SCV.   The dates in May will remain the same, 17, 18 and 19th.   Don also discussed details on the Cody ride for anyone who is interested.  Apparently, there is a plan in the works to meet up with SCV.  Fallon, Nevada, seems to be a good location to meet.  The actual location in Fallon is, “to be announced”.

George Rogers had a suggestion for a possible ride in October.  He has been in contact with the Kawasaki dealer in Vallejo, California.  He said they would be willing to sponsor a ride in October.  A route will be set, a Grand Prize will be given.  They have agreed to send out flyers.  The event may include food and music.

Bob Webb asks that anyone planning to attend his event in July, to please let him know as soon as possible.  His ride will include a tour of the Jelly Belly factory and Anheiser Busch.  It will include a VIP tour and each attendee will get two free beers!  (Don Brubaker was heard to say “I love you man!”)

Grand Tour report: 14 people have signed up so far.  Spread the word for participants!
