Treasury Report

The treasury report states that in our bank account as of this meeting is
$1,157.60

Old Business

Ray asked about the status of the club flyer. Bob Webb stated that he had
forgotten all about it. He will begin working on it and should have it
ready in approximately two months.

Ray discussed the filling of current vacancies on the Board of Directors
and asked if anyone would be interested in taking over the position of
Activities Director. He stated the job should be fairly easy to do since
all of the 2004 events have already been planned. There were no
volunteers for this position.

The status of the Club flags are not known at this time. The disk
provided by the shirt company was corrupt and the company designing the
flags was attempting to redo the colors to match the club logo. Ray
requested the membership authorize the expenditure of $100.00 to redo the
disk if the current one could not be repaired. A vote was taken and the
motion was passed.

The shirt vendor currently used by the club has failed to respond to calls
and emails sent by Ray. The club has several shirts on order going back
to October, 2003. Ray suggested we find a new vendor. The company that
is doing the flags has offered the club a fairly good deal on shirts, if
we get the disk to work properly. Ray suggested the club stop purchasing
T-shirts and go to the Polo shirts. This proposal was agreed upon by the
members present.

New Business

Ray wants to get the 2004 event schedule completed. The camp out and
poker run for June has been cancelled. Dale and Pam's wedding has been
added in its place. Ray had a camp out schedule at Huntington Lake in
August. However, he feels we should try to move it to the coast where
there would be more places to ride. Ray has asked Bob Joyner if he will
look into getting reservations somewhere around San Simeon or farther
north. In the interim, Huntington Lake will stay on the schedule for
August. Roger Allen has suggested an overnight trip to the train museum
in Portola. He has agreed to set the trip up. He thinks the cost will be
around $15.00 per person if we have enough membership to qualify for the
discount price. This price will also let you run the train yourself for
15 - 30 minutes. When the ride is over, you receive a certificate stating
you are a certified Train Engineer. We also have added the Blossom Trail
ride in Fresno to the schedule for March 7th. This is a charity run put
on by the GWTA. There will be a flyer posted on our web site giving you
all the information about the ride.

The camp out for April has been changed to April 1, 2 & 3 (Thursday
through Saturday). Bob Joyner will be our host for this one. He will
have directions posted on the web site for those who desire to attend.

Ray stated we have 38 members out of 68 that have paid their 2004 dues.
Out of the 30 left, we have 5 that are non-paying members that live out of
state. For the rest of those remaining, Ray has mailed them a letter
asking for a response by March 1st, or the will be dropped from
membership. We have gained 7 new members as of December 1, 2003.

Ray inquired as to how many members are planning on attending the AVA
rally back East in July. There were only 3 members who expressed an
interest in attending the rally.

Ray discussed moving the club meeting place south of Modesto to either
Santa Nella or Los Banos. This would make the distance a little closer
for those who live south of Modesto, like Bob Joyner and Jim Tinlin who
travel over 400 miles round trip to attend a meeting. The meetings for
the rest of 2004 will be held in conjunction with planned club events.
Members will be informed later in the year as to where the new meeting
site will be located.

Bob Webb held the drawing for the Club's 50/50. The pot was $56.00. The
winner was Bill Owens who donated his winning s back to the club treasury.
Members in attendance also purchased approximately $250.00 in club
apparel.

A motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting. President Ray
Walls adjourned the meeting at 1:40 p.m.
