Old Business

Bob Joyner read the minutes from the April meeting.

Treasures report:  President Ray Walls gave the treasures report on behalf of Wayne Bright.  Ray advised all members that the treasury currently has a balance of $1,483.37.  No outstanding bills on record.

Activities Report:  Don Brubaker said the activity report is the same as last month.  The joint campout with the SoCal group seems to be a success.  He said it would be nice to make it an annual event.

A short discussion followed in regards to who was going to the Triangle rally.

New business

Ray talked about a letter he had received from Charlotte Ash from the AVA.  She requested we write a critique of our event in case anyone else might want to visit the area.  Ray asked Bob Joyner to write the critique.

Tom Hite said he hoped to have a CB installed on his bike soon so he can be in communication with the group.

Bob Webb asked Don if he had been reimbursed for the campground fees and Don said he had.

Ray read the inventory of club gear.  This lead to a discussion on the need to carry so many different selections of T-shirts.  Don made a motion to trim the amount of choices available to cut down on costs.  The consensus of opinion was, the club should do away with the 50/50 blend and carry only the all cotton.

Don also made a motion to designate a color to wear at rallies so everyone would be in uniform.  The motion carried with the modification that a summer and winter color will be designated.  The blue color will be summer, and be worn from May 1st to October 1st.  The black color will be winter, and be worn October 1st to May 1st.

Ray Walls won the 50/50 drawing and donated it back to the club

President Ray Walls adjourned the meeting at 5:15 pm.
