December 6, 2003
A short impromptu meeting was held at the club's annual Christmas party at
Bob Joyner's house. Ten members and guests attended the party. Wayne
Bright and his wife had to cancel due to coming down with the flu. Jim
Tinlin was in Switzerland on business; at least that's what he told Mary!
Just kidding Jim. The following members composed the meeting:
Ray Walls, President
Bob Joyner showed two items that were donated by Bob Lee and could be used
to raise more money for the club. One was an Arai full-faced helmet.
The second item is a full dress motorcycle cover. The members present
agreed the items could be used to generate funds at the poker run in June.
Bob Joyner said he is looking at April 2, 3, and 4th for the camp out at
Santa Margarita Lake. If anyone is aware that these dates may conflict
with any other scheduled events, Nor-Cal club or otherwise, please contact
Bob ASAP. Don Brubaker reminded everyone about the ride to Death Valley
with the IBMC. The dates are, January 9th, 10th and 11th.
Everyone had a wonderful time at the party. A Gourmet meal was prepared
by Sandy Joyner and Bob Lee. Entertainment and prizes were provided by
Bob Lee. As always, more participation at club events is encouraged.

The topic of discussion was fund raising and the poker run tentatively
scheduled for June, 2004. Bob Lee provided some financial and logistic
suggestions on how to provide a nice BBQ meal and make some money for the
club's treasury. Bob is speaking from experience, as he has a BBQ
catering service in the Visalia area.
