Ray gave treasures report for Lee House (Lee had to work)
Treasures report as of 6-14-01, the club has $754.90 in the
bank. Of that amount, $305 of that amount had been collected for the purchase
of the patch kits. The remainder $449.90 has accumulated from dues and
donations.
There are no outstanding bills except that we need to buy stamps
for postage and Ray Walls paid the fees for our tax free status for the
club. Ray has thus far only been reimbursed $33 of those moneys and needs
to be
reimbursed for the remainder of those fees.
As per Lee House, Treasures
*Conversation insued regarding : Paying Ray A.S.A.P.,
However, per Ray, he can’t find the receipt or remember the amount
he paid. Ray will get back to us as soon as he gets that information.

Only six members were at the Jazz Festival.

OLD BIZ
From StuBow regarding logo patches
So far, only 10 patch sets sold - We need 50 sets to place order,
also the patches will not be ready for the RR run.
Update, by the end of the meeting, another 12 or so patch sets were
sold.
StuBow brought up the possibility of the club paying now up front
for the remaining patch sets so we can get the patches ordered.

Group discussed the cost of patches. Ray offered to pay for the remaining
sets so the club can get the order in.
Dottie made the motion to go with Ray’s idea. Stubow seconded the
motion. A vote was taken on this motion. 6 yea and 4 na..motion carried.
Also, a motion from Dottie was passed that stated that any moneys
taken in by the club will go
to pay Ray back via the Tres.
A vote was taken and passed by all to raise the price of the patch
set from $30 to $40 dollars as of July 1, 01.
Individual patches can be ordered at a higher price. Contact Uncle Ray for details.
Motion by Dottie to have a 50/50 now and at future meetings. All
agreed
This meeting we had our first 50/50 drawing, $5 per ticket. $75
worth of tickets sold, Doris was the winner of $37.50 which she donated
back to the club.
Future money making plans:
Poker run tentivily set for Sat. Oct. 6th to be held in the Auburn
area. Don will talk to local shop owner for sponsorship. Doris, Dannette,
and their sister Debbie will work on getting donations. John and Don to
work out a 130 mile route. More info to be worked out on July 14th board
meeting.
Motion to make Alan & Deborah Casner honorary members of the
NorCal Voyagers put forth by Ray for there help on the upcoming endeavors.
The motion was carried.
New member Tom Anderson offered to be in charge of the 50/50 drawings.His offer was accepted.
Flyers for club membership should be out by August 1,01.
Flyers for Poker Run should be out by Sept.01,01.
2nd new member for tonight is Della Wright-she was not present but
her honey,Tom Anderson decided she would be another good member.
